What's it for?
In addition to teaching our students about the lives of various plants. They will have a better understanding of where food comes from and how to grow their own food.
We will be able to provide produce to our school cafeteria. The students will eat what they grow.
As our garden program grows, we may develop a farm stand. Any money made on the sale of produce and/or plants will be used to sustain our garden.
We may also begin a composting program. The compost will not only provide nutrition to our soil, but it will also reduce the amount spent on waste removal.
